Honeymoon
I am finally going on my Honeymoon. Oh, yeah. :-) It seems like a long time since I got married. My marriage can use a dose of something different: some relaxing times.
I got married in Sept-03 and since then we have not been on any vacation. Although I'm not complaining, I love to travel. But since we wanted to make our Honeymoon vacation a little longer, we waited for the right moment and did not use up our vacation days: I only get 10 vacation days. :-(. So now we can take a 2-week vacation and relax. But not taking a vacation for a long time takes its toll: it makes working tiresome. Anyway, I'm happy to be going on vacation, so let's talk about it now.
Our honeymoon will be (should be) an interesting journey in Europe. We'll start off in Greece (we depart from JFK tonight). We'll spend seven days there (couple days on the islands for sure) and then we're off to our motherland, Poland. While in Poland it'll be more like a family vacation, since my wife's family is there (my family is here). It'll be interesting. We'll visit our beloved Krakow and spend some quality time there. We'll also visit my area: beatiful southern, mountainous area of Poland and relax a little there. We'll do something else if we have time. All in all, I think Greece should be exotic and Poland more relaxing.
I have not been in Europe for quite a while, so I think I'm due for a visit. I'll share my experiences after I come back (or maybe during the trip? we'll see) and I should have some pictures to back my arguments.
