I think these 7 ingredients are essential in an effective leader.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Vision<\/strong>: Leadership is always about the future.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Communication<\/strong>: Leaders have to spread their vision. The do that by communicating optimism, hope, inspiration, and motivation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>People skills<\/strong>: Outstanding leaders care about others.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Character<\/strong>: Honesty, integrity, respect, humility.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Competence<\/strong>: Leaders are good at what they do, always working on improving their skills<\/li>\n<li><strong>Boldness<\/strong>: Leaders have to make decisions.
